Josephine Gunawan

Josephine Gunawan has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Josephine is currently working as a Clinical Research Lead at SIRKA (YC S21), starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Panti Wilasa Citarum Hospital starting in October 2021. Josephine also served as an International Model United Nations Campus Ambassador at International MUN from March to May 2022.

Josephine has previous experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Panti Wilasa Citarum General Hospital from March 2020 to October 2021, where they worked in the Emergency Department, GP Clinic, and inpatient wards. Josephine also worked as a Teleconsult GP at Halodoc ID from June to September 2020.

In terms of research experience, Josephine worked as a Research Intern at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA) from September to December 2019, where they focused on Age-Related Macular Degeneration and gained expertise in multi-modal imaging and Heyex software. Josephine also worked as a Graduate Research Student at Monash University from November 2018 to December 2019.

Additionally, Josephine has experience as a Clinical Research Physician at the Centre for Tropical and Infectious Disease (CENTRID) - Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University from November 2017 to April 2018. Josephine worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Bhakti Wira Tamtama Military Hospital from September 2016 to September 2017, and as a General Practitioner at Pandanaran Primary Health Care from September 2016 to January 2017.
