Luís Matos

Luís Matos has a diverse work experience in the field of Computer Science. Luís started their career at IEETA - University of Aveiro where they pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science and also supported teaching activities. During this time, they worked on projects related to DNA profiles and efficient management and visualization of urban data.

After completing their Ph.D., Luís joined agap2IT Portugal as a Consultant. Here, they gained valuable experience in web application development and worked with technologies such as Spring Boot, Java 8, Thymeleaf, HTML, Hibernate, ASP .NET, C#, Razor, MVC, Web API, jQuery, Javascript, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.

Following their role at agap2IT Portugal, Luís joined Celfocus as a Software Developer. Luís was involved in the development of a web application and web services for managing the SIRO fibre-to-the-building broadband network. This application allowed operators to create new orders, make changes to existing ones, and handle issues through a ticketing system.

Most recently, Luís worked as a Solutions Architect at SIRO, where they utilized their expertise in designing and implementing solutions for clients.

Luís Matos pursued their education in Computer Science at Universidade de Aveiro. Luís obtained their Master's degree from the university in 2009 after completing their studies there from 2003 to 2009.
