Gary Martin

Gary Martin has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Gary started their career as a Maintenance Engineer at Sutton Group Services in 1984. Gary then became an HVAC Service Technician at Haden Building Management in 1987. In 1989, they joined Mentor Management Applications Ltd as an Analyst Programmer for two years. In 1991, they moved to Dynix and held various roles including Support Analyst/Programmer, Senior Support Analyst/Programmer, Customer Support Team Leader, and Support Group Team Leader. From 1995 to 1999, they worked at Dataworks as a Systems Consulting Manager. Gary then went back to Dynix and worked as a Research & Development Manager, Technical Services Manager, and Senior Sales Consultant from 1999 to 2007. Finally, they joined SirsiDynix in 2007 and worked as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, and currently as a Business Development Director.

Gary Martin began their education by obtaining an ONC degree in Electronic Engineering from Luton College of Higher Education, which they completed between 1986 and 1987. Following this, they pursued a degree in Computer Science and acquired an HND from the same institution during the years 1988 to 1989. Later, Gary attended the University of Bedfordshire Business School from the years 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a PG DIP (DMS) in Management Studies. Lastly, they completed an Executive MBA (part-165 credits) program at the University of Bedfordshire Business School from 2004 to 2005.
