Nicola Rowe

Nicola Rowe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent position is as the Head of Human Resources at Swiss International School since August 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Manager for Qatar and Oman at Turner & Townsend from May 2016 to June 2018. Nicola also served as the Executive Assistant to the Country Manager at Turner & Townsend from January 2016 to May 2016.

Before joining Turner & Townsend, Nicola was the Human Resources & Office Manager at Asteco Qatar LLC from April 2013 to August 2014. Nicola also worked as a Personal Assistant to the Energy Partners at The Curzon Partnership from July 2011 to January 2013.

Their previous roles include an Executive Assistant position at Harvey Nash from July 2010 to July 2011, a Personal Assistant position at SSP Limited from January 2010 to July 2010, and a Team Project Coordinator position at Starbucks Coffee Company from March 2008 to January 2010. Nicola's earliest work experience was as a Capital Equipment Inventory Manager at Bausch + Lomb, where they worked from an unspecified start date to 2008.

Nicola Rowe began their education journey in 2013 with a Diploma in Office Management from Distance Learning. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2017, Nicola completed an Undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Later, Nicola pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Human Resources from The Manchester Metropolitan University, which they obtained between 2021 and 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Nicola obtained various certifications alongside their education. In 2014, they became an Associate Member of CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2017, they achieved Associate Membership from CIPD. Nicola further enhanced their skills by becoming an HR Business Partner, obtaining the certification from CIPD in February 2021. Recently, in April 2022, Nicola became an Associated Professional Member of the Center for Evidence-Based Management (CEBMa).
