Maria Alejandra Soto

Maria Alejandra Soto is a Co-founder and member of the executive team of Sistema B Peru. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico and is certified as an Innovation Leader from Universidad de Lima. Her experience starts with a B Corp and since then she became interested in promoting projects with a purpose and is part of the B Corps Promoting Group in Peru. She is responsible for the strategy of sustainable ventures at Libélula (www.libelula.pe) and experienced in climate change projects, carbon footprint measurement for private companies and design and development of sustainability programs. Has also participated in the design of production costs for a B Corp that enabled it to identify a sustainable price for a ‘quintal’ (46 kg) of coffee, and contributed to the elaboration of marketing indicators. Knows climate change management, integral development of business plans, entrepreneurial tools and design thinking and lean startup methodologies.
