Peter Kirkwood has extensive experience in cross-cultural communication and event planning, particularly in the areas of protocol and international relations. Peter has worked with various organizations, including The International Center and Sister Cities International, where Peter has excelled in coordinating workshops, seminars, and conferences. Peter also has a background in education, teaching English as a Second Language and conducting cultural training workshops. Peter's educational background includes a B.S. in Japanese from Ball State University.

Eisenhower in 1956, Sister Cities International is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit which serves as the national membership organization for individual sister cities, counties, and states across the U.S. This network unites tens of thousands of citizen diplomats and volunteers in 570 member communities with over 2,300 partnerships in 150 countries on six continents.
