Aitor Ruano

Aitor Ruano is a skilled backend engineer with extensive experience in developing high availability and scalable systems, particularly using Kubernetes and Docker Swarm. Currently serving as a Senior MLOps Engineer at SITA since November 2023, Aitor previously held the positions of Technical Lead and AI Software Engineer at Midokura from July 2022 to November 2023. Aitor's background also includes work as a Backend Systems Engineer at Elements from January 2018 to July 2022, contributing as a technical guide and member of the Security and Privacy Steering Committee. Prior experience includes roles as an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Applus+ IDIADA, where Aitor developed safety software for vehicles, and internships at various startups during studies, engaging in multiple programming languages. Aitor holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN and a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
