Petra Maurova

Petra Maurova has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales, operations, and people management. Petra is currently working as the Director of Global People Business Partnership at SITA since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of People EURO at SITA from April 2021 to June 2022. From March 2019 to May 2021, they served as the People Country Manager at SITA. Before joining SITA, Petra worked at GE Grid Solutions as the Regional Sales Operations Manager for a brief period in 2016. Petra also worked as the Regional Sales Operations Manager at Alstom Grid from July 2010 to January 2016. Their earlier experience includes a role as a Sales Performance Analyst at AREVA T&D from April 2007 to June 2010 and as a Sales Customer Support at Mercedes-Benz Group AG from January 2006 to March 2007.

Petra Maurova holds a Master's degree in Management & Marketing from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, which they obtained from 2001 to 2007. In 2008-2009, they received certifications as a Certified Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist (CIMA A, CIMA B) from CIMA Czech Institute of Marketing in Prague. Petra also briefly studied International Commerce at Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto, Portugal in 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Petra has completed the Blanchard Certified Self Leader program from The Ken Blanchard Companies in 2020. Petra has also undertaken various professional development programs, including Transformational Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2023, Human Resources: Strategic Workforce Planning from LinkedIn in 2022, Strategic workforce planning from Human Capital Institute in 2022, and SITA 5.0 Leadership Development Program from IMD in 2022.
