Mark Longhurst

Mark Longhurst is the current Director of Workplace Experience at Sitecore. Prior to this, they took a sabbatical from work for several months in 2020. Before that, they were the Head of End User Services at SS&C Financial Services International Limited from November 2015 to April 2020. In this role, they managed a customer-facing team of 28 Microsoft and Citrix Engineers responsible for the design, construction, supply, and support of end user environments. Mark also trained and mentored the end user engineering and support teams with a focus on their interpersonal skills and business acumen.

Some of their key achievements include increasing positive customer feedback from 38% to 95%, successfully merging and synergising 3 globally dispersed internal and external technical delivery and support teams to reduce external contractor overheads and streamline operations, systems, and processes, and delivering world class end user environments that resulted in a significant reduction of incident tickets and resolved technology debt throughout the EUS estate. Mark was also successful in reducing EUS OPEX by 16% through effective reviews, system upgrades, and team transformation.
