Yuncheng Yang

Yuncheng Yang has five years of experience in the software engineering industry. In 2019, they began working as a Full Stack Developer for SUBCONNECT, where they developed the SUBCONNECT platform with React.js and improved the speed of unit tests in the deployment pipeline by more than 200%. In 2020, they took on a role as a Software Engineer for SUBCONNECT, developing the Subconnect web application with Python and React.js with TDD, as well as designing and refactoring the backend to a consolidated repo-service-controller pattern. Yuncheng also worked as a Software Developer for Boolean Pty Ltd in 2020, working with a team of developers to build software solutions with Typescript, Severless Framework, Express.js and React.js. In 2021, they took on a role as a Platform Engineer for Flomatika, where they worked in data pipeline, feature development and CI/CD pipeline. Yuncheng re-implemented the ETL process, using SQS, SNS, AWS Lambda, EventBridge and Cloudwatch for monitoring, as well as integrating with Jira and AzureDevops APIs. Currently, Yuncheng is a Site Reliability Engineer at Sitemate, a position they have held since 2022.

Yuncheng Yang's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, General from the University of Melbourne, which they completed in 2018. Yuncheng then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Information Technology from Monash University, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Yang has also obtained four certifications from various institutions, including The Linux Foundation, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and HashiCorp. These certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
