Alex Kok

Alex Kok has extensive work experience in the technology and digital sector. Alex is currently employed at SiteMinder as the Engineering Director, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Engineering Manager at SiteMinder from May 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining SiteMinder, Alex worked at Boral as the Head of Digital Delivery from June 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they focused on strengthening team culture, delivery DNA, agility, and portfolio alignment. Alex also led change management and quality assurance initiatives, including championing new capabilities such as robotic process automation (RPA).

Alex's previous experience includes working at Qantas as a Delivery Lead from January 2017 to June 2018, where they led the Qantas Mobile App domain. Alex aimed to enhance the mobile app customer experience for 1 million Australians, focusing on travel assistance, flight experience, and customer engagement.

During their tenure at Commonwealth Bank, Alex held several positions. Alex worked as a Delivery Executive in Wealth IT from April 2015 to October 2016, where they served as a change agent to portfolio executives and contributed to IT delivery transformation. As an Executive Manager from December 2010 to April 2015, they were responsible for delivering CommBank's first Mobile Banking and Payment App, introducing an agile delivery framework and enhancing digital experiences for customers. Additionally, they served as a Solution Delivery Manager for the Online Security Platform and as a Business Analyst at Commonwealth Bank.

Their early career includes a role as a Business Analyst at ADT Fire & Security from 2004 to 2005.

Alex Kok attended Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Management of IT.
