Maggie MacGoen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maggie started their career as a Front Desk Receptionist and Instructor at Black Knight Martial Arts from April 2017 to December 2018. During this time, they interacted with students and families, managed billing, and performed bookkeeping tasks.

In 2019, Maggie worked as a Brand Ambassador for Urban Enterprises, representing different organizations such as Ponce City Market, Avenue East Cobb, The Battery Atlanta, Shops around Lenox, and MARTA. Maggie'srole focused on providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In 2020, Maggie joined Net Impact Triad as a Grants Writer. Maggie researched and applied for grants from notable companies and organizations. Maggie worked as a Grant Writer and Researcher until November 2021.

Also in 2020, Maggie started working at Wake Forest University. Maggie held multiple roles, including Peer Tutor, Global Ambassador, Programs Assistant, Social Media Coordinator, and Tutor. As a Tutor, they specialized in French, Reading, History, English, and Writing for elementary and middle school students. Maggie also worked as a Study Monitor, performing receptionist duties and assisting with various projects.

In 2021, Maggie joined SitterTree, where they held multiple roles. Maggie worked as a Babysitter, taking care of children of various ages and maintaining frequent communication with parents. Maggie also served as a Marketing Research Consultant, conducting research in different markets and recommending software development platforms. Maggie later became a Campus Intern, expanding the app into new markets, advising software development, and actively recruiting on university campuses. Currently, they hold the position of Support Coordinator at SitterTree.

Throughout their work experience, Maggie has demonstrated strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work in diverse environments. Maggie has received recognition for their work as a Top 10 Sitter for SitterTree in 2022.

Maggie MacGoen obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Wake Forest University, from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and obtained the International Baccalaureate diploma at Campbell High School from 2015 to 2019. In 2023, they pursued a Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the University of Chicago, which they completed in 2025. Additionally, they engaged in a summer course on Political Extremism & Threats to Democracy at DIS - Study Abroad in 2022. Maggie also briefly studied French Language and Culture at Université de Bourgogne in the same year. It is not specified whether they attained a degree from these two institutions.
