Gregory Botanes

Gregory Botanes has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Gregory started their career in 1990 as a Product Manager at Investronica. Gregory then joined Microsoft in 1992 as a Product Manager, responsible for launching Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, and Visual C in Spain. In 1995, they became a Marketing Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, where they were responsible for various areas of the PC Business Unit in Spain. In 1999, Gregory worked as a New Channels Sales Manager at Vodafone before moving on to become the General Managing Director at The Phone House, where they were responsible for opening and developing the subsidiary in Spain and achieving significant business growth. Gregory then served as the Head of Sales & Marketing at Yacom, a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary in Spain. In 2001, Gregory became the Product Marketing Director at ONO. In 2006, they joined Navya as the Marketing & Business Development Director, where they worked until 2015. Finally, Gregory served as the General Manager at SITUM Technologies, a leading provider of indoor location technology, focusing on low-cost and highly accurate indoor positioning systems for mobile devices.

Gregory Botanes began their education in 1984 at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 1990. In 1997, they attended IE Business School and completed an Executive MBA program. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued further studies at the Universidad Camilo José Cela, specializing in Air Traffic Control and obtaining a degree as an Expert in Air Navigation. During the same period, they also received an Air Traffic Controller ICAO certification from ASTAC. In 2012, Botanes obtained an Air Traffic Control License from the CANI Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic. Additionally, in 2011, they obtained an Expert in Air Traffic Management certification from the Universidad Camilo José Cela. No specific month was provided for the certification's completion.
