Melissa Kopinski has over 15 years of experience in the sales and marketing industry. Melissa began their career in 2005 as a Media Planner for MediaMixNet, Inc. (formerly Campbell-Mithun). In 2006, they moved to Conroy Media as a Media Buyer, where they developed and executed regional media plans for National-Louis University, Sylvan Learning Centers, and AMCORE Bank. In 2007, Kopinski joined Mindshare as a Planning Supervisor, where they worked with a small team to develop strategic media plans for regional client American Family Insurance. Melissa was later promoted to Strategic Planner in the same company. In 2008, they joined re:fuel as Managing Director of Account Management. In 2014, Kopinski joined Hipcricket as Associate Sales Director of Brand Solutions. Later that same year, they joined Bazaarvoice as Advertising Sales Director of Digital Programmatic, where they educated agency strategy teams on the power of Bazaarvoice's 1st party audience segments for partner recommendations. In 2017, Kopinski moved to MaxPoint as Director of Programmatic and in 2018, they joined Valassis as Director of Restaurant Solutions and Regional Sales Manager of Programmatic and Display. In 2020, they joined Goodway Group as Director of Business Strategy and Development and in 2022, they joined Six Nines IT as a Senior Sales Executive, helping clients migrate from on-prem to the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Melissa Kopinski obtained their Bachelor of Science in Communication, Corporate/Organizational from Northern Illinois University between 1998 and 2002. Melissa has also obtained several certifications, including Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk in December 2020, Google Digital Garage from Google in April 2019, IAB Digital Marketing and Media Foundations Certification from IAB in October 2018, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022.
