Stephanie Engel

Stephanie Engel has a long and varied work experience. In 2003, they began their career as a Music Teacher for Clear Creek ISD, Cypress Fairbanks ISD, Denton ISD, Lewisville ISD, and Leander ISD. In 2011, they became a Senior QA Engineer for Kinnser Software (now part of WellSky). In 2017, they moved to Gartner as a Senior Automation Engineer. In 2018, they joined Olo as a Senior QA Engineer. In 2019, they joined InfluxData as a Senior Software Engineer In Test, where they maintained Telegraf, led and coordinated API testing, implemented and documented API test frameworks, and developed post deployment UI automation frameworks. In 2021, they joined Apple as a Software Engineering Manager, where they collaborated with Engineering leadership to create a comprehensive automation roadmap, created an automation team's first project board, created and maintained custom dashboards, and facilitated career development opportunities for team members. Finally, in 2022, they joined Six Nines IT as a Senior Software Engineer, where they created the FAIR team's first development cluster in Azure, created and maintained production infrastructure, and created user groups and permissions.

Stephanie Engel holds a Master of Music (MM) from the University of North Texas, where they specialized in Music Performance, Flute. Stephanie also holds an Associate's degree from Austin Community College, where they specialized in Computer Programming with a focus on Software Testing. Stephanie earned their Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida, where they specialized in Music Performance, Flute. Additionally, they hold a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Mountain Goat Software and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute.
