Karen Muller BS RN

Karen Muller BS RN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Karen started their career as a Licensed Registered Nurse in a critical acute care setting at St. Peter's Health Partners in 2014. Karen then transitioned to a role as a Clinical Specialist Support/Therapy Support Specialist at Medtronic, where they provided training and education on products and therapies to the physician community, hospital staff, patients, and administrative staff.

In 2015, Karen joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Sales Representative. In this role, they utilized their industry knowledge and training expertise to successfully transition long-term care facilities to newer anticoagulants. Karen also provided education and technical expertise to key opinion leaders and local physicians in the Cardiovascular & Metabolism field.

After their time at Janssen, Karen worked as the Director of Employment & Training at Albany County Residential Health Care Facilities in 2017. In this position, they identified training and staff development needs and implemented innovative programs to achieve training objectives. Karen also facilitated clinical education as a result of a significant medical expansion.

Karen then moved on to Syneos Health Commercial Solutions in 2018, where they served as a Contract Clinical Nurse Educator, specifically for Janssen Neuroscience. Their responsibilities included providing clinical information to key decision-makers, initiating approval on hospital formularies, and facilitating new sites of care within hospital systems.

In 2019, Karen joined Nabriva Therapeutics plc as a Territory Business Manager. In this role, they managed hospital and community specialty accounts, focusing on formulary inclusion and outpatient use of a new antibiotic for Community Acquired Bacterial Pneumonia. Karen successfully accessed formularies in multiple hospital systems and played a key role in protocol development.

Most recently, Karen works at SK Life Science, Inc. as a Neuroscience Account Manager and Key Account Manager for the Northeast region in the Market Access department. Their responsibilities include managing key accounts and providing market access for neuroscience products.
