Michelle Schell-Muir

Michelle Schell-Muir has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in marketing and product development roles. Michelle started their career as a Product Manager at Gander Mountain, where they significantly grew the boat business. Michelle then worked as a Product Development Manager at Petco, where they developed strategies and plans for private label product development. Michelle later served as a Group Manager of Hardlines-Product Development at Sports Authority, analyzing category businesses and managing the product development process. Michelle then joined Animal Supply Co. as the Director of Exclusive Brands/Product Development, where they led a team in developing multiple brands and over 200 products for the independent retail channel. Michelle also worked as the Director of Marketing at Redbarn Inc, overseeing B2B and B2C marketing efforts and managing packaging updates. Michelle later served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at FreshChoice Complete Diets before being laid off due to funding issues. Michelle then held roles as the Director of Marketing at Chuck Latham Associates, Inc., and Skagit Farmers Supply & Country Store, before becoming the Director of Marketing at AFCO Distribution. Currently, they are the President of the Board of Directors at GROW community Garden.

Michelle Schell-Muir obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Michelle attended the university from 1991 to 1995.
