Krzysztof Balka

Krzysztof Balka has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Krzysztof is currently working as a Lead Software Development Engineer at Skan.ai since April 2022 and as a Backend Engineer at the same company since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the CEO of PyCloud, a startup they led from November 2019 to March 2021, which aimed to simplify and automate creating cloud services. Before PyCloud, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Software Application Engineer from March 2015 to October 2019. Krzysztof also worked as a Software Engineer at Jeppesen from February 2014 to February 2015, as a Software Developer at Compuware from April 2010 to January 2014, and as a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters from April 2008 to March 2010 and from September 2007 to April 2008. Krzysztof began their career at Alatek where they worked as a Junior Application Engineer from 2005 to 2007.

Krzysztof Balka obtained their M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Gdańsk University of Technology between 2001 and 2006. Krzysztof also holds additional certifications in various topics, including Natural Language Processing, Convolutional Neural Networks, and Agile Project Management.
