Anita Birkeland

Anita Birkeland is currently an Industrial PhD Student at Skanderborg Kommune, where research centers on operational projects within politically governed organizations. With a background in process optimization and business development, Anita has contributed significantly to sustainable changes across multiple sectors in Skanderborg Kommune. Previous roles include management consulting at Howbiz Management Consulting, where initiatives focused on leadership and process optimization, and serving as an external instructor for Lean Management at VIA University College. Anita's extensive experience spans various consulting positions, educational roles, and project management, underpinned by a comprehensive academic foundation in business intelligence and entrepreneurship. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in project management at Aarhus University, Anita aims to deepen the understanding of project portfolios within the public sector.
