John Schmidt

John R. Schmidt has extensive work experience in sales, marketing, and leadership roles. John R. began their career in 1993 as an Application Engineer at SKF Group, where they worked until 1999. John R. then joined Sulzer Ltd as a Sales Engineer from 1999 to 2000. After that, they returned to SKF Group and held various positions including Territory Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Industrial Sales and Key Accounts, and VP Global Sales for the Railway and Off Highway Business Unit. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the President, Industrial Market Sales & Marketing North America at SKF Group. Since 2016, they have been the President & CEO SKF USA Inc and President Industrial Sales Americas. Throughout their career, they focused on developing strategies, improving technical solutions, and delivering above market growth.

John R. Schmidt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, which was completed in 1993. In 2012, they also underwent SKF International Management Training at INSEAD. Additionally, they have a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
