George Lukes

George Lukes is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and ski instruction. Currently serving as a Ski Instructor at Ski Santa Fe since November 2022, George provides group and private alpine ski instruction. Prior to this, George had a lengthy career at Boeing, where roles included Project Engineer and Program Manager from October 2005 to March 2015, leading advanced research and development for helicopter modernization programs, and Engineering Manager from 1985 to 2005, overseeing teams in avionics and flight controls for international clients. George began the career as a Design Engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand, focusing on aircraft electrical systems from 1980 to 1984. Academic credentials include a BSEE from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an MSEE from Arizona State University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, George holds a PSIA Level 1 Alpine Ski Instructor Certificate.
