Simona Ursac, PMP, PSPO

Simona Ursac is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) with extensive work experience in project and program management. Simona has a strong background in the technology industry, having worked for companies such as Skillable, Microsoft, and Oracle.

At Skillable, Simona currently serves as a Project Portfolio Manager, overseeing multiple projects and ensuring their successful delivery. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Program/Project Manager at Skillable, where they successfully managed complex projects.

During their tenure at Microsoft, Simona worked as a Learning Project Manager in the Enterprise Services division. Simona delivered multiple complex projects, providing strategic business advice to the Learning and Development (L&D) organization. Simona also collaborated with different business units and product groups to design and develop learning assets for over 9000 employees.

At Oracle, Simona held various project management roles. Simona project-managed learning and development projects for Sales Consultants worldwide, coordinating content development and workshop deployment. Simona was also part of the PMO team and piloted JIRA for learning programs. Additionally, they served as a Partner Enablement Project Manager for WW Alliances & Channels, engaging with internal stakeholders to plan and execute partner training programs. Simona also worked as an Events Project Manager, managing training events for global teams and creating process documentation.

Simona's early career includes roles as a Junior Project Coordinator at Forum Invest and a Human Resources Technician at The Louis Berger Group.

Simona Ursac, PMP, PSPO, holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Information Technology, a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Management & Marketing, and Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Accounting and Information Systems, all from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
