Ian McAllister has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ian is currently working as a Senior Compensation Manager at Skilljar since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager, Total Rewards and People Operations at Getaround from March 2021 to April 2022.

Before their role at Getaround, Ian worked at Synchrony for several years in various positions. Ian was an AVP in Human Resources from October 2019 to March 2021, where they played a key role in Workday reporting and analytics, configuration for benefits and payroll, and HR analytics and strategic project management. Ian McAllister began their education in 2010 at the University of Connecticut, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Research. Ian successfully completed this program in 2014. Following this, from 2014 to 2016, Ian attended San Jose State University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
