Elizabeth Morales

Elizabeth Morales is a Detroit native and lifelong resident of Southwest Detroit who works at Ice Miller, LLP. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the same. During law school, Morales served as an Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law and was a board member of the Latino Law Students Association and First Generation Law Students. She also represented clients as a student attorney in the Human Trafficking Clinic and the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic. Morales spent her summers working as a legal intern in the Office of the General Counsel at DTE Energy, and as a Summer Associate at Ice Miller, LLP.

Before attending law school, Morales was a senior trial paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division in Washington, D.C. There, she helped lead a team of paralegals in U.S. v. Deere & Company et al., and was a member of the U.S. v. AB Electrolux, et al. trial team. Morales received the DOJ John Marshall Award for Trial Litigation presented by A.G. Loretta Lynch in 2017.
