Jessica Hirsch

Jessica Hirsch has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and quality assurance. Jessica currently holds the position of Engineering Lead at Skillshare, a role they have been in since July 2022. Prior to this, they also served as a Senior SDET at Skillshare starting from January 2022.

Before joining Skillshare, Jessica worked as an Engineering Lead at Capri from August 2020 to January 2022.

Prior to Capri, they worked at INTURN starting in July 2018. During their time at INTURN, Jessica held the positions of SDET from January 2019 to December 2021, and Lead QA Engineer from July 2018 to December 2021. In their role as Lead QA Engineer, they engineered a Cucumber-Selenium framework for automation for R&D and was one of two authors of a JavaScript automation framework.

Jessica's previous work experience includes roles at Ambulnz, where they served as a Lead QA Engineer from January 2018 to July 2018, and as a QA Engineer from July 2017 to January 2018. Jessica'sresponsibilities in these positions included Jenkins Deployments, Advanced SQL Development, and Google App Script.

Jessica Hirsch completed a Full Stack Web Development program at General Assembly in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Syracuse University, graduating in 2013. Jessica also holds a Web Development Certification from General Assembly.
