Edward Henson

Edward Henson is a dedicated High School Career and Technical Education Teacher specializing in Network Technology and Career Readiness at Capital Region BOCES since July 2019, holding a New York State Education Department Teaching Certificate for Information Technology for grades 7-12. In addition to mentoring students in network technology and digital literacy, Edward serves as a SkillsUSA Advisor for 11th and 12th grade CTE students. Prior to this role, Edward accumulated extensive experience at Verizon from 1994 to 2019, where responsibilities included strategic network planning as a Senior Network Infrastructure Planner, project management as an Operations Manager, and technical roles as a Network Field Engineer and Capacity Planner. Edward holds an MC in Project Management from The George Washington University, a BS in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Excelsior University, and an AS in Business Administration and Management from Cayuga Community College.
