Shangeth Rajaa

Shangeth Rajaa has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2018 to 2021. Shangeth worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Skit (previously Vernacular.ai) starting from June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University from August 2020 to June 2021, where they focused on Speech Representations and Unsupervised/Semi-Supervised Representation Learning.

In 2020, Shangeth worked as a Research Intern at IBM in a role related to their research interests. Shangeth also collaborated as a Research Collaborator with Inria from April 2019 to July 2020 for the AutoDL Project.

Shangeth gained valuable experience as a Machine Learning Facilitator at Google Explore ML from July 2019 to March 2020. Shangeth also served as a Mentor for Google Code-in program from November 2019 to February 2020.

Furthermore, Shangeth worked as a Deep Learning and Computer Vision Content Developer at OpenCV from May 2019 to September 2019, contributing to the development of courses related to Deep Learning with PyTorch.

Prior to their research roles, Shangeth worked as a Software Developer at KG LLP Fintech from August 2018 to November 2018. Shangeth also gained experience as an AI Developer at OpexAI from September 2018 to October 2018, and as a Computer Vision Developer at Science and Technology Center, Chennai from May 2018 to July 2018.

Shangeth Rajaa completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, spanning from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Shangeth obtained several certifications in various subjects. Shangeth completed the Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree and Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in December 2019 and June 2019, respectively. Shangeth also completed the Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai in October 2018, as well as several courses on Coursera, such as Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Cisco Internet Connection, all completed between 2018 and 2019. Shangeth also obtained certifications in Machine Learning with Python from IBM and Coursera in August 2018, and certifications in Network Scanning, Python, Social Engineering, Ethical Hacking: Denial of Service, Kali Linux, Networking Foundations, and IP Subnetting from various online platforms between 2017 and 2018.
