Luting Xu

Luting Xu has a diverse work experience spanning various medical and academic roles. In 2016, they started working as a Clinical Director at Peonia Medical. In 2020, they became a Trainer in Aesthetic Medicine at Cosmetic Courses. Prior to that, they served as the Medical Director at sk:n from 2019 to an unspecified end date. In the same year, they also worked as an Advanced Aesthetic Doctor at Regent Street Clinic until March 2020. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Before that, they worked as a Core Surgical Trainee at GENERAL INFIRMARY AT LEEDS from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they held roles as a Trust ST1 T&O at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from February to August 2016, and as a Trust ST1 Plastic & Burns Surgery and Clinical Observer at Nottingham University Hospital from August 2015 to February 2016. Prior to their medical roles, they worked as an Anatomy Lecturer and pursued a PHD at The University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2015. Luting also served as a Research Fellow at Arthritis Research UK from August 2013 to March 2015.

Luting Xu obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine from Sichuan University in the years 2004 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2009 to 2010. Luting then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Life Science at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications in various fields such as non-surgical cosmetic injectables, advanced trauma life support, basic surgical skills, advanced life support, basic facial plastic surgery, and emergency first aid at work, all between the years 2013 to 2016.
