Zhi Wang

Zhi Wang currently serves as Project Manager for European Wood at Skogsindustrierna, focusing on knowledge transfer and marketing processes in China for European engineering timber industries. Since January 2021, Zhi Wang has held the position of Näringslivssamordnare at Region Kalmar län, promoting investment in collaboration with Business Sweden and local municipalities. Previous experience includes project management roles at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, where Zhi Wang developed marketing strategies for European timber in China, and serving as Chief Representative at Business Sweden’s Småland China Support Office, facilitating export efforts for regional companies. Zhi Wang also contributed as a guest writer for Svensk Vindkraft and resumed responsibilities as Näringslivssamordnare in wind power at Region Kalmar län. Zhi Wang holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and Industrial Ecology from Chalmers University of Technology.
