Dmitry Artamonov

Head Of Education Delivery at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology

Dmitry Artamonov has a diverse work experience in various roles related to education, research, and management. Dmitry started their career as a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Biochemical Physics in 2008 and worked there until 2011. Dmitry then became a Senior Visitor Research Fellow in Neurophysiology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2012. In 2013, Dmitry worked as a Lecturer and Research Associate at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University.

In 2014, Dmitry joined TOMASchool as a Math and Physics Teacher, where they worked until 2015. In the same year, they also started working at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. At Skolkovo, Dmitry held several roles, including Coordinator of Research Center for Data-Intensive Biomedicine and Biotechnology from 2015 to 2017, Head of Doctoral Studies from 2017 to 2023, and Head of Bioimaging Core Facility from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Education Delivery at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Overall, Dmitry has a strong background in research, teaching, and leadership roles.

Dmitry Artamonov completed their Master's degree in Health/Medical Physics at Moscow State University in 2008. Dmitry then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the N. M. Emanuel Institute of Biochemical Physics from 2008 to 2011.
