Evgeny Burnaev

Evgeny Burnaev currently serves as the Director of the Applied AI Center and as a Full Professor at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology since June 2016. In addition, Evgeny Burnaev holds the position of Head of Research Group at AIRI since November 2021. Previously, Evgeny Burnaev was Head of Laboratory and Head of Group at the Institute for Problems of Information Transmission, and also worked as a Data Analysis Expert and Head of Group at DATADVANCE. Evgeny Burnaev has academic leadership experience as Vice Chairman at both the Chair of Predictive Modeling and Optimization and the Chair of Information Transmission and Processing Problems at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Educational qualifications include a Dr. Sci. (Habilitation) from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2022, a PhD in Computer Science from the Institute for Problems of Information Transmission in 2008, and a Master's degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2006.
