John Nay has had a long and varied career in the field of artificial intelligence. John is currently the CEO of Skopos Labs, but they have also previously worked as an adjunct professor at New York University and as an affiliate at Harvard University's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.
Nay's interest in artificial intelligence began early in their career. John co-created and co-taught the first course on AI at NYU School of Law, which was a four-credit course offered to data science graduate students, law school students, and MBA students. After their time at NYU, Nay spent a year at the Berkman Klein Center, where they researched the potential applications of AI in society.
In their current role at Skopos Labs, Nay is working on developing AI applications that can help businesses automate their operations. John is also working on a book about AI, which is due to be published later this year.
John Nay's educational career consists of a post-doctoral research fellowship at New York University and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
