Ongki Kurniawan

Ongki Kurniawan is an experienced executive with a diverse background in the technology and banking industries. Ongki currently serves as the co-founder and CEO of Skorlife, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Ongki was a member of XA Network, a leading tech executives' investment network in Southeast Asia, starting in 2021.

From 2020 to 2022, Ongki worked at Stripe as the Country Head for Indonesia. Before Stripe, they held various roles at Grab, including Executive Director of Grab Indonesia and Managing Director of GrabPay Indonesia, from 2017 to 2019. Ongki also served as the Managing Director of LINE Indonesia from 2016 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Ongki held senior positions at PT. XL Axiata Tbk, including Director/Chief Digital Services Officer and Director/Chief Service Management Officer. Ongki was responsible for overseeing wholesale/SME relationships, new businesses, regulatory strategy, and overall service management. Ongki also worked as a Board Member at Adknowledge Asia Pacific and elevenia, providing strategic advice and reviewing annual business plans.

Before entering the technology sector, Ongki worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Principal, specializing in corporate finance and strategy. Ongki also gained experience in financial modeling, credit analysis, loan structuring, risk management, and compliance during their tenure at Citibank.

Throughout their career, Ongki has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in technology and finance.

Ongki Kurniawan holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Ongki obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Ongki has also completed executive education programs in Leadership for Senior Executives at Harvard Business School and Transition to General Management at INSEAD. In addition, they have achieved certifications in HR and Digital Transformation from LinkedIn, as well as Blockchain Basics from LinkedIn. Ongki has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
