Lukas Neumann

Researcher - Aquatic Animal Health at Skretting

Lukas Neumann, Ph.D., is an accomplished researcher specializing in aquatic animal health, currently leading research and development efforts at Skretting since February 2018. Previously, Lukas conducted a Ph.D. project at the University of Tasmania from March 2013 to August 2017, focusing on the detection of blood flukes of the genus Cardicola. Lukas's early research experience includes a research internship at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) in 2006, where data collection for a bachelor's thesis and support for ongoing PhD projects were undertaken. Lukas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Tasmania, a Master’s Degree in Animal Science from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organic Agriculture (Hons) from Royal Agricultural University.
