Giorgos Tsigkourakos

Giorgos Tsigkourakos is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and application security. Currently serving as the Application Security Team Lead at Skroutz since January 2021, Giorgos specializes in people management and mentoring within the Application Security Team. Previously, Giorgos worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at Skroutz, focusing on DevSecOps, software development lifecycle integration, penetration testing, and security assessments. Prior to Skroutz, Giorgos held the position of Information Security Engineer at Ευρωπαϊκή Πίστη, conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, and also served as an Oracle Developer. Giorgos began the career as a Web Developer and System Administrator at MainSys. Giorgos holds a postgraduate degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and a graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Athens University of Economics and Business.
