Alex Saltzman

Alex Saltzman sets and drives strategy to achieve robust corporate growth through actionable goals, plans and budgets. Previously, as a partner at Alchemy Properties, Alex directed the development of commercial and residential real estate and oversaw the entire arc of the business from acquisitions and financing through design and construction, into marketing and sales.

During his career, he has developed more than a million square feet with a transaction value in excess of $1 billion. His diverse projects span both urban and suburban markets. Alex specializes in complex acquisitions and developments epitomized by the conversion of the Woolworth Building, a national historic landmark in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood, to super premium residential condominiums.

Alex holds a master’s in real estate finance from New York University and a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former professor at the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University and has lectured at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Alex is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
