Henry Carson

Henry Carson has extensive work experience in various roles related to enterprise architecture and strategy. Henry currently holds the position of Head of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy at Sky New Zealand. Prior to that, they were the Chief Architect at Absa Group, where they were responsible for the technology roadmap and overall architecture of each business unit. Henry also worked as a Lead Solution Architect at Barclays and held roles as a Solutions Architect and Enterprise Systems Management Subject Matter Expert at MTN. Additionally, Henry has experience as a Director and Consultant at Dissect IT and Business Solutions, where they specialized in IT management software and disciplines. Henry started their career as a Systems Management Consultant at IBM and worked as a Consultant at Crux Integration Services and Foster-Melliar. Henry also has experience in system engineering and operations analysis at MTN. Overall, Henry has a strong background in enterprise architecture and strategic planning, as well as expertise in IT management solutions.

Henry Carson completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Information Systems at the University of Liverpool from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Foster-Melliar in 2015 for COBIT 5 - Foundation. In 2014, they completed a course in Situational Leadership II at Kenblanchard. In 2013, they obtained certifications in TOGAF 9 Foundation from RealIRM, Information Framework Distilled (SID) and TMForum Business Process Framework Distilled (e-Tom) from TMForum, and UML OO Analysis & Design using UML from Torque IT. In 2008, they received training in The Foundations of Six Sigma at IBM Academy. Henry also completed the Supervisory Fundamentals course at MTN Academy in 2001. Henry's education history also includes a MCSE certification from Workgroup in 1997 and an A+ certification from Workgroup in 1996.
