Katy Nicholson has a strong background in program management and community relations. Katy began their career at Saint Louis University as an Office Assistant, where they provided support to the Political Science Department and managed event budgets. Katy then transitioned to the Public Broadcasting Service, where they served as a Coordinator and later as a Senior Associate. In these roles, they focused on professional development, engagement tactics, and logistical coordination. Most recently, they have been with Reading Is Fundamental, where they have held various positions, including Community and Partnerships Manager, Senior Manager of Community Relations, Director of Programs, and currently serves as the Vice President of Programs. Katy has displayed leadership skills in overseeing team management, ensuring program success, and building strategic partnerships.
Katy Nicholson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Saint Louis University in 2013. In addition, they acquired a certification in "Leading When You're Not in Charge" from LinkedIn in March 2023.
