Eric Alper

Eric Alper has a diverse work experience, primarily in the finance industry. Eric started their career as a Senior Tax Associate at Coopers & Lybrand in 1989. Eric then worked as a Tax Manager at Deloitte & Touche from 1994 to 1996. After that, they served as the Director of Tax Research & Planning at Marubeni America Corporation from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they worked as a Senior Tax Attorney at Champion International Corp. from 1999 to 2000. Eric then transitioned to Neuberger Berman where they held the position of Vice President from 2000 to 2004. Later, they joined Ivy Asset Management as the VP of Finance, overseeing hedge fund accounting and providing accounting operational due diligence. In 2006, they became the CFO of Weston Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund of funds, where they oversaw finance, accounting, treasury, HR, and administration. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the CFO/COO of U Capital Group, LP, responsible for all financial, legal, compliance, and administrative issues. Currently, they work as the Partner-Deputy General Counsel and Head of Tax at SkyBridge Capital, a role they have held since 2009.

Eric Alper completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 1986. Prior to that, they attended American University Washington College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law in 1989. After that, they pursued further studies at Georgetown University Law Center, earning a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Taxation in 1992. Lastly, they attended high school at Jericho HS, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
