Armando Contreras is an accomplished engineering manager and software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development and architecture. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Skydio, Armando leads efforts in delivering autonomous vehicle mobile applications and oversees the planning and execution of new features. Previous roles include Android Architect/Engineering Lead at Wunderman Thompson Mobile, where Armando focused on high-quality application architecture, team mentoring, and best practice implementation. Armando's expertise spans various technologies including Android SDK, Kotlin, AR/VR platforms, and game engine development, supported by a solid educational foundation with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
