Scott Gooch

Scott Gooch is the VP of Hardware Ops at Skydio. Prior to joining Skydio, Scott held various positions at Apple, Ventiva, Santur Corporation, StatsChipPAC, and RFMD.

Scott started their career in 1989 as an Engineering Manager at Micron Technology. In 2000, they became the Director of Global Operations at RFMD. Scott held this position until 2006 when they became the Director of RF Products at StatsChipPAC.

In 2007, Scott left StatsChipPAC to join Santur Corporation as their VP of Manufacturing. Scott was responsible for all facets of manufacturing including production operations, contract manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and facilities.

In 2008, Scott left Santur Corporation to join Ventiva as their VP of Engineering and Operations. Scott held this position until 2014 when they joined Apple as a Special Projects manager.

Scott has been with Skydio since 2021.

Scott completed their undergraduate degree at Iowa State University.
