Svante Henriksson

Svante Henriksson has a diverse background in various research and technology-related roles. Svante co-founded and served as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Skyfora from May 2022 to the present and previously held the position of CEO from December 2017 to May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Researcher at the Finnish Meteorological Institute from March 2008 to March 2019 and also served as a Wind Energy Developer from October 2010 to August 2011. Additionally, Svante worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the South African Weather Service and North-West University from September 2014 to August 2016. Svante gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Labour Institute for Economic Research from September 2011 to August 2012. Svante also volunteered as a Financial Research Analyst and Teacher at the Rabuor Sinaga Area Development Trust for a brief period in 2007. Furthermore, they worked as a Junior Consultant at a technology company in Finland from June 2007 to August 2007. Earlier in their career, Svante worked as a Researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology from May 2004 to March 2006, and as an Intern at the University of Turku in June 2003 to August 2003.

Svante Henriksson completed their education in a chronological manner. Svante first attended the University of Turku from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Theoretical Physics. Afterwards, they enrolled in Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 2005 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Additionally, in 2007, they completed an Information Technology program at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.

Later, from 2008 to 2013, Svante pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics at the University of Helsinki.

In terms of certifications, Svante has completed several relevant courses. These include "Hands-On Machine Learning Using Amazon SageMaker," "PyTorch for Deep Learning and Computer Vision," and "PyTorch for Deep Learning with Python Bootcamp," all obtained from Udemy in November 2019. Svante also completed the "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Intellectual Property: Inventors, Entrepreneurs, Creators," "IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Circuits and Electronics" courses, earned from various platforms such as Coursera and edX between 2012 and 2018.
