Scott Bienenfeld, MD

Scott Bienenfeld, MD started their work experience in 2003 as the Owner of Scott Bienenfeld, MD LLC. From 2007 to 2013, they served as the Medical Director at the New York Center For Living, where they helped individuals and families with substance abuse issues. In 2013, they became the Medical Director & CEO of the Rebound Brooklyn Outpatient Program, a medical recovery program focused on psychiatric stability and sobriety. Scott held this role until 2016 when they became the Business Owner at Rebound New York Medical. In 2019, they joined PsychMed as the Medical Director. Currently, Dr. Bienenfeld is the Co-Medical Director at Skylight Psychedelics, where they provide a certification course and explores new treatment options for patients with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, pain, and anxiety.

Scott Bienenfeld, MD began their educational journey at Dartmouth College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Scott then attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1997, earning their Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree with a focus on Medicine. Following this, Dr. Bienenfeld completed their residency in General Psychiatry at New York University Medical Center from 1997 to 2001. Scott furthered their expertise by pursuing a Fellowship in Psychiatry & Law at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2001 to 2002.
