Prasanna S Iyengar

Prasanna S Iyengar has over 17 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2020, they became the Director of Product Management at Skylo Technologies, where they defined products and helped set up a business in India around providing NB-IOT satellite connectivity for outdoor IoT use cases. Prasanna managed a portfolio and roadmap of SaaS and DaaS (connectivity as a service) products. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Product Head - Connected Machines at Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, where they were responsible for building and scaling an IOT based Connected Machines Solution for SME Manufacturers. From 2016 to 2018, they were the DGM Marketing - Head Product Management - Platforms at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, where they were responsible for building a team of product managers to develop the next generation product platforms. From 2004 to 2016, they were at Cypress Semiconductor, where they held various roles, including Product Engineering Manager, Product Engineering Group Lead, Product Engineer Staff, Product Engineer Senior, and Product Engineer. In 2003, they began their career as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services.

Prasanna S Iyengar has a diverse educational background. Prasanna obtained a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut between 1999 and 2003. Prasanna then went on to pursue their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management and Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad between 2015 and 2016. In addition, Prasanna has obtained four certificates from Coursera in 2018, namely Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects.
