Shabna Palathumveedu

Shabna Palathumveedu is a Principal Engineer in Clothes Care at GE Appliances, a Haier company, with extensive experience in engineering management and project leadership. Since February 2014, Shabna has led a global team of 15 engineers, overseeing embedded and APP strategies for laundry solutions, and has been involved in Agile project management and digital application development for commercial laundry. Previous roles at GE included Senior Manager for Engineering Programs and Principal Electronics Program Manager, emphasizing product launch and program management across various projects. Shabna's career also includes engineering positions at Ford Motor Company, Hitachi Automotive Systems, GE Energy, and BAE Systems, alongside early work as a Circuit Design Engineer at ISRO. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
