Tarak Makecha

Tarak Makecha has a wealth of work experience, beginning with the US Army in 2008. Tarak served in various roles, including Ranger Platoon Leader, Reconnaissance Platoon Leader, HHC Executive Officer, and Rifle Platoon Leader. Tarak also served as an Instructor for Leadership Development & Assessment Course. In 2014, they became a MBA Summer Associate at Deloitte Consulting, and in 2015 they were a Graduate School Fellow at Year Up and a Manager & Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Tesla in various roles, including Head of Strategic Planning, Tesla Energy, Chief of Staff, North America Sales & Delivery, and Global Finance Lead, Working Capital & Supply Chain. Most recently, they have been the Vice President of Finance & Operations at SkySafe since 2022.

Tarak Makecha attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government. Tarak then went on to the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). In 2015, they completed a Master's in Management Exchange Programme at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Additionally, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
