Claire Thomson

Claire Thomson has been working in the legal industry since 2006. Claire started off as an Executive Assistant at the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and then moved on to become a Policy Administrator in 2013. In 2018, they joined the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic as a Member of Law Clinic and Student Advisor. In 2015, they began working as a Legal Assistant at Skyview Capital LLC and will soon be starting as a Trainee Solicitor at PBW Law in 2022.

Claire Thomson has a diverse educational background. Claire began at Ayr College, where they obtained an HND in Media Technology from 1997-1999. Claire then went on to the University of the West of Scotland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Media Technology from 1999-2001. After that, they attended the University of Stirling, where they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Law (Civil Litigation) from 2016-2017, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from 2017-2018. Claire then attended Strathclyde Law School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws - LLB in Law from 2018-2020, and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in Law from 2020-2021. Claire is currently attending the University of Strathclyde, where they are pursuing a Master of Laws - LLM in Law from 2021-2022. Additionally, they have been awarded the Best Newcomer 2019 from the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic in November 2019, and holds a CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice from the Chartered Institute of Housing.
