Phillip Dean

Phillip Dean, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Phillip is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at SkyWater Technology Foundry, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Organizational Development at the same company from November 2021 to July 2023. Previously, Phillip worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics from January 2020 to November 2021. Phillip also served as the Training and Development Manager/HRBP at Twin City Fan & Blower from August 2016 to December 2019. Before that, they worked as the Employee Relations Manager at FreightCar America, Inc. from June 2015 to June 2016 and as the Assistant Human Resource Manager at Raybestos Powertrain, LLC from August 2012 to June 2015.

Phillip Dean, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Masters of Science in Human Resources Strategic Management from Bellevue University, graduating in 2016. Phillip also holds a B.A. from Freed-Hardeman University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their educational background, Phillip has obtained several certifications including being a Certified Crucial Conversations Trainer from Crucial Learning (2022), a Certified DiSC Facilitator from Wiley/Focus Tools (2020), and a Certified HR Business Partner from the Human Capital Institute (2018). Phillip also obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in December 2017.
