Jeff Brinkley

Jeff Brinkley is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as Police Chief at Mason City Police Department since January 2016. In addition to this role, Brinkley holds positions as Associate Teaching Professor and Lecturer at Iowa State University, and serves on the Advisory Board for Guardian Alliance Technologies, Inc. Since co-founding Brinkley, Clary & Thomas Consulting, LLC in September 2016, efforts have focused on enhancing the effectiveness of police recruitment and training. Brinkley has been an active Board Member of the Iowa Chapter - FBI National Academy Associates since January 2014, holding the position of immediate past president. Previous experience includes a range of roles at Ames Police Department from March 1996 to January 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Iowa State University, along with police science credentials from Hawkeye Community College.
