Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Pre-Medical from 1982 to 1986.

Later, Albert pursued further education in the field of healthcare informatics and earned a Masters in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University. Albert studied there from 2014 to 2023, enhancing their knowledge and skills in healthcare informatics.
